In 2024, the net inflow of funds into Vietnam’s Open-End Fund market reached 22.673 trillion VND, a significant figure compared to the net outflows from ETF funds on the market. Of the total net amount, bond funds contributed 12.875 trillion VND, while equity funds contributed 9.160 trillion VND.
The TCBF Open-End Bond Fund led the market with a net inflow of 10.724 trillion VND.

The equity open-end fund group has demonstrated its appeal by attracting a net inflow of 9.160 trillion VND, while investors have continuously sold off ETF products on the listed market. The equity funds that recorded the largest net inflows include:
- VFMVSF by DragonCapital with 2.618 trillion VND,
- VMEEF by VinaCapital with 1.421 trillion VND,
- The newcomer EVESG by Eastspring Investment with 1.402 trillion VND, funded by its parent company Prudential.
Bond Open-End Funds
In contrast to the net outflows in 2023, the bond open-end fund group saw a dramatic increase in net inflows in 2024, reaching 12.875 trillion VND. Leading the way is the TCBF bond fund by TechcomCapital, which attracted 10.724 trillion VND in net inflows just in 2024. It is important to note that prior to the capital outflows at the end of 2022 and throughout 2023, TCBF was once a bond open-end fund with total assets close to 1 billion USD.
